little 5 points is my favorite neighborhood in atlanta. its colorful character never disappoints–& you won’t leave without seeing at least a dozen skull tattoos, shouting vagabonds, and rock n’ roll restaurants.
rag-o-rama is your typical buy, sell, trade thrift store, but the buyers working this place really know how to pick some good digs. i am never disappointed with the variety and condition of the clothing & accessories here
junkman’s daughter is more than a thrift store–in fact, the used clothing only takes up a small corner in the back. junkman’s daughter is referred to as an ‘alternative superstore’: people come here to spend hours perusing all the crazy gifts, vibrant new clothing (nothing comes without neon or holograms), and quirky items the store has to sell.
the clothing warehouse is my favorite thrift store in atlanta. it has everything a thrift store needs: good selection, reasonable prices, no odd smells, well-organized (color coordinated a plus), & friendly, eccentric sales folk. the bonus of this particular store is that its located right next to little five points pizza: one of the best slices in the south…
even though wish isn’t a thrift store, its a must-stop in little 5 points. this boutique has really hip digs from joy rich, en noir, zanerobe, play by come de garçons, & they also carry herschel bags & really unique sneakers from well-known brands such as nike & puma.
